Our Safeguarding Refresher is designed for people working in the Adult Health and Social Care sector, who wish to refresh their knowledge around safeguarding matters. This half day course is a great way to update your knowledge on the legislation, guidance, and practices relevant to safeguarding adults.
For those in the Adult Health and Social care sector, we recommend following annual Safeguarding Refresher training to make sure you stay up to speed with changes in legislation and regulation.
The programme includes:
An introduction to safeguarding
Roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding adults
Signs and indications of potential safeguarding issues
Appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns
The procedures for making a “safeguarding alert”
Ways to work with dignity and respect when working with individuals
Relevant legislation, regulation, and guidance around safeguarding
A discussion of potential barriers to reporting safeguarding concerns
At the end of the day, successful participants will receive a Kemble Training Attendance Certificate that lists all the completed elements.
