Health and Safety

Our Health and Safety Training can be facilitated as a course just for your organisation at our training centre or 'onsite' at your location. The course comes in a number of variations, from non accredited to accredited, depending on your requirements. 

Health and Safety 

Aimed at existing or new staff to update skills and knowledge. This course lasts 4 hours and only for group bookings, training can be facilitated just for your organisation at our training centre or 'onsite' at your location.

Health and Safety Level 2 (1 day)

Aimed at existing or new staff to update skills and knowledge. This course lasts 1 day and is run in our annual training calendar at a cost per person. Training can be facilitated just for your organisation at our training centre or 'onsite' at your location as a group. 

This qualification is designed to provide learners with knowledge of the basic health and safety practices essential in the workplace.

 

The qualification provides learners with an understanding of the responsibilities and employers and employees, the benefits of good health and safety, steps to a risk assessment, common causes of and how to reduce accidents, near misses and ill-health, typical hazards and controls in the workplace, emergency procedures and the importance of recording accidents, near misses and ill-health occurrences.

How is the qualification assessed?

It is assessed by a multiple-choice examination, where the learner must answer at least 12 out of 20 questions correctly.  The examination will take a maximum of 45 minutes to complete.
